Australian Pacing Gold XX (3yo Fillies) Final, Tabcorp, Friday

Tabcorp stage one of their annual harness racing features this Friday night with the Australian Pacing Gold XX Final, for 3yo fillies worth $102, 000. Amongst the 13 strong line-up there are a couple who stand out in the harness racing odds and following the heats this might not be too hard a race to dissect.

Aussie Made Lombo must have a huge chance. She won her heat in an adequate time, may just need to build on it a little, but has only been out of the first two once in 20 career starts. She has a very impressive strike rate and even though this will be the strongest race that she has so far contested, the same comment applies to many of the others. A bold show is expected.

Another to land her heat for this in good style was Deadly Woman. Her form figures are attractive and she is still very unexposed having only had six career starts to date. She is drawn out on the second line but she had plenty of potential improvement and, if settling down well early, should be staying on at the finish.

Sheezallattitude comes here with some classy times next to her name and this filly has been known to throw in a stinker of a run on the odd occasion; if she turns up on song she is the one they all have to beat. Times such as 1.55.1 are few and far between and despite the strong possibility that there are horses in this which are well up to conquering those measures in the future, Sheezallattitude has already done it and more than once.

This is a good race in which these three stand out and are likely to fight it out at the finish. Aussie Made Lombo would be the selection over Deadly Woman on the basis that she is slightly better drawn and could just slip the field. However, it would be no surprise if she was to be engulfed by Sheezallattitude if that one is on a going day, come the closing stages
